Editor s Note: The video in the above player is from a previous report. If you re a fan of sweet treats and live in Chicago, you ve probably heard of Mindy s Bakery. This Halloween weekend the bakery s owner, Mindy Segal, is giving Chicagoans an opportunity to browse a different selection of her treats: high-end vintage clothing, glassware and kitchenware, and rugs and furniture. Segal is opening up her home to the public this weekend for a mega garage sale in an effort to make space for a major renovation to build her dream kitchen. The garage sale is set to run from 9 a.m. through 3 p.m., or as long as shoppers are around, on Saturday and Sunday rain or shine. Her home is located on the border of Logan Square and Avondale, though she s keeping the exact address under wraps until 6 a.m. on Saturday. It ll be announced on Segal s Instagram, and in the caption of this post by local fashion influencer @herstoryretold, who previewed the event. View this post
